Student Commencement Declaration
This agreement is between Learn and Instructor:
- The learner agrees that the licence they have presented to the instructor is theirs.
- They also declare that they are not aware of any reason that the licence would be suspended or in any way impaired.
- The learner agrees that should they be made aware of any issues surrounding the validity of their licence, they will notify the instructor immediately.The learner agrees to attend all driving lessons free from the effects of alcohol or drugs.
- The learner agrees to give at least 24 hours notice to the instructor if they cannot attend the lesson as a result of a planned event that will involve the consumption of alcohol or drugs.
- If the learner has any doubt as to their sobriety, this must be reported before the commencement of the to the instructor.
- The learner agrees that in the event of uncertainty, the instructor is at liberty to either; subject the student to a non-binding breath analysis or terminate the lesson immediately.
If any of the above conditions are not met and result in the cancellation of a lesson, the student will be obliged to pay the driving instructor in accordance with their cancellation polices.
All learners are reminded that compliance with ALL road law is their responsibility. If the learner has any doubt as to their compliance, this needs to be immediately disclosed to the instructor and a decision made as to whether training can continue.
